Product Details

A beginner refractor telescope with a 360mm focal length, 6mm and 20mm eyepieces, a 1.5x erecting eyepiece and a tripod, giving 18x, 27x, 60x and 90x magnification.

This is a starter telescope for looking at the moon, bright planets and distant land views. The 20mm eyepiece gives a wide 18x view that makes it easy to find things, and the 6mm eyepiece takes you to 60x for a closer look at craters. Adding the 1.5x erecting eyepiece raises these to 27x and 90x and turns the image the right way up for land viewing. A 90 degree diagonal makes it comfortable to look through, and the small finder scope on top helps you point it at your target.

Why Buy This Beginner Telescope

  • Two eyepieces - 6mm and 20mm for close and wide views
  • Up to 90x - with the 1.5x erecting eyepiece
  • Finder scope - helps you aim at the moon and planets
  • Right-way-up image - diagonal and erecting eyepiece suit land viewing
  • Tripod included - set up on a table, balcony or deck

Care & Use

Never look at the sun through the telescope or finder scope, as it can cause permanent eye damage. Keep the lens caps on when not in use, and blow dust off the lenses before wiping gently with a lens cloth. Let the telescope adjust to the outside temperature for 15 to 20 minutes before viewing. Children should use it with adult supervision.

Please allow a small measurement tolerance due to manual measurement, and slight colour variation due to different monitor settings.

Where It Gets Used

Families and beginners use it on a balcony or in the backyard to look at the moon's craters and the brightest planets, and to learn their way around the night sky.

In daylight it works as a spotting scope for ships, birds and distant landscapes, using the erecting eyepiece to keep the image the right way up.
