Hand wash in cool water with mild soap and let it air dry. Keep the hook-and-loop fastening closed when washing so it does not snag. Do not use the strap if you have a blocked nose or cannot breathe comfortably through your nose. If you suspect sleep apnoea, talk to your doctor, as a chin strap is not a treatment for it.
