Product Details
Self-adhesive window rain guard strips, 2m long each, that sit along a window or door frame and shed rain away before it runs onto the sill or under the seal.
Each black PVC strip has an L-shaped profile about 4.3cm high with a 9mm base, and a red-backed adhesive tape along the base. Peel the backing, press the strip along a clean, dry frame, and the angled lip turns water away from the gap. The strips are flexible, so they follow the frame, and they cut with scissors to suit narrower windows. Two strips give you 4m in total, enough for a couple of windows or a sliding door. People also fit them to car, caravan and shed windows.

Why Buy This Window Rain Guard
- No drilling - peel-and-stick tape suits rentals and finished frames
- Cut to fit - trim each 2m strip with scissors
- Flexible PVC - follows the line of the frame
- 4m in total - two strips cover several windows or a door
- Not just windows - also suits car, caravan and shed windows
Care & Use
Wipe with a damp cloth when needed and avoid aiming a pressure cleaner at the strip edge. Adhesion depends on the surface: smooth painted, aluminium, uPVC and sealed timber frames hold best, while rough or porous surfaces may not. The strip helps guide water away and does not replace proper flashing, sealing or drainage.
Please allow a small measurement tolerance due to manual measurement, and slight colour variation due to different monitor settings.
Where It Gets Used
Homeowners and renters fit them where heavy rain runs down the glass and pools on the sill, over sliding and balcony doors, and on bathroom and laundry windows that drip onto the floor.
Outside the house they go on caravan and shed windows, and on car windows as a simple drip strip.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long are the strips?
Each strip is about 2m long, and you get two, so 4m in total.
Do I need tools to fit them?
No drill is needed. You only need scissors to trim the strip and a cloth to clean the frame.
Can I cut them shorter?
Yes. Cut them to length with scissors.
What surfaces will they stick to?
Clean, dry, smooth surfaces such as aluminium, uPVC, painted and sealed timber frames. Rough or dusty surfaces may not hold.
Will this fix a leaking window?
It helps turn rain away from the sill and gaps, but it is not a repair for a failed seal or flashing.
