Product Details

Brass LPG gas jet nozzles with an M6 x 0.75 thread and 8mm hex, in a set of 5 bore sizes from 0.5 to 1.02mm, or 10 jets as two sets.

Gas stoves and burners use small brass jets to meter the gas going into each burner. The bore size must match the gas type and the burner, which is why jets are changed when an appliance is converted between natural gas and LPG. Each jet in this set has the same thread and hex size, while the bore varies. The bore is stamped on each nozzle for easy identification (for example 50 = 0.5mm and 102 = 1.02mm). Gas work must be done by a licensed gasfitter. These jets are spare parts for the fitter to select and install.

Before you order: check the jet in your appliance. It should have an M6 x 0.75 thread and an 8mm hex. Then check the appliance manual or data plate for the correct LPG jet size for each burner, and have a licensed gasfitter fit and test them.

Why Buy These LPG Gas Jets

  • Five bore sizes - 0.5 to 1.02mm in one set
  • Common thread - M6 x 0.75 with 8mm hex
  • Stamped sizes - each jet is marked with its bore
  • Solid brass - the standard material for gas jets
  • Spare sets - 10 pack gives two full sets

Care & Use

Store jets in a sealed bag so dust and grit cannot block the bore. Never drill out or enlarge a jet. A licensed gasfitter should install them, leak test the connections and check the flame after fitting.

Please allow a small measurement tolerance due to manual measurement, and slight colour variation due to different monitor settings.

Where It Gets Used

Licensed gasfitters and appliance repairers use them when converting cooktops, wok burners and outdoor stoves to LPG, or replacing worn and blocked jets.

Caravan and camping owners keep a set as spares for their gas appliances so the fitter has the right size on hand.
