An overbed table on four swivel wheels with a 60 x 40cm tilting top that adjusts from 70 to 115cm high, so it rolls over a bed, sofa or recliner for meals, reading and laptop work.

The C-shaped base slides under a bed or chair while the top sits over your lap, which makes this table useful for anyone spending long stretches in bed, recovering at home or caring for someone who is. The top is medium-density fibreboard with a wood-look finish and rounded edges, and it tilts for reading or laptop use or locks flat for a meal tray. The frame is powder-coated steel, and two of the four swivel casters have brakes to hold it in place.

What You Get

Specifications

Fit check: measure the gap under your bed or recliner and the height of the mattress or seat. The base needs about 63cm of width to slide under, and the top should sit a little above lap height, within the 70 to 115cm range.

Care & Use

Wipe the top with a damp cloth and dry it; do not soak the board or leave liquids standing on it. Lock the two braked wheels before leaning on the table. Keep the top flat when holding drinks or hot food, and do not sit or put your full weight on the table.

Please allow a small measurement tolerance due to manual measurement, and slight colour variation due to different monitor settings.

Where It Gets Used

People recovering from surgery or illness use it for meals and medication in bed, and carers use it to keep water, tissues and a phone within reach. It also works as a laptop desk over the couch or a recliner.

In aged care rooms, home hospital setups and small apartments it doubles as a bedside table that rolls away when it is not needed.
